Intestinal dysbiosis
Dysbiosis is most commonly reported as a condition in the digestive tract. Intestinal dysbiosis refers to microbial imbalance in the intestines. It is associated with illnesses, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity, colitis and even cancer. Microbial colonies found in the intestinals are normally benign or beneficial. These beneficial and appropriately sized microbial colonies have many helpful and necessary functions, such as aiding in digestion. They also can protect the body from the penetration of various pathogenic microbes.
