Erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence is sexual dysfunction in men, characterized by the inability to develop or maintain an erection of the penis during sexual activity.The erection is the coused by the blood entering in the penis. The process is often initiated as a result of sexual arousal, when signals are transmitted from the brain to nerves in the penis. The most common causes are related with cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurological problems, hormonal imbalance, drug side effect or psychological problems.
